-
You may choose your
own beat anywhere on the Au Sable from Parmalee
Bridge to Alcona Pond.
-
Groups can do a one
time cleanup of any site and we'll promote them on
our website.
-
Let us know where
you want to cleanup so we can coordinate and assign
our volunteers to other spots.
-
We would like to give you credit on our Adopt-A-Beat
Board. Sign up to advertise a business, honor
a cause, or remember a loved one.
-
You clean your beat when and how often you can.
Even picking up an area one time a season makes a
positive impact.
-
The suggested cleanup period starts after Memorial Day weekend and
runs to before Labor Day weekend. The weekends of Memorial Day,
4th of July and Race Weekend will be the best times
to clean up.
-
The ASBWPA will supply trash bags, pairs of gloves
and trash stickers as needed. More trash bags are available upon
request.
-
The ASBWPA asks that you dispose of this trash at the
nearest transfer station in a timely manner.
-
The ASBWPA will be happy to put advertising for any
business or organization that adopts a beat on the Adopt-A-Beat website
for all of 2010.
-
Participants will also receive Adopt-A-Beat T-Shirts
while they last.
